The Story Behind She Roams
She Roams began with a personal desire to build something meaningful for women. For me, travel was never just about seeing new places — it was about what travel made me feel: freer, more curious, more alive. It had a way of helping me discover new parts of myself, and I often wondered how many women longed for that, but held themselves back because they lacked the confidence, company or community to do it with.
After leaving my corporate career, I knew I wanted to create something with purpose. Being closely connected to the world of travel through Touch Down Earth made me realise there was space for something designed differently — not just trips for women, but a community where women could feel supported, inspired and deeply connected.
That’s how She Roams was born.
What started as women-only journeys quickly became about something much deeper. On our early trips, I saw women arrive as strangers and leave with friendships, take their first international journeys, and return with a new sense of confidence. Those moments shaped what She Roams is today.
Because for us, travel is not just about destinations — it’s about connection. With people, with places, and often with yourself.
She Roams was created for women who want to explore the world meaningfully, find their people, and come home with stories, friendships and memories that stay long after the journey ends.
